Outreach Project Features the Movie - 'On Careers'

The 'On Careers' Movie has been developed to a 'Workgroup' format and works in conjunction with the 'On Careers' Magazine and with the E- Workbook. The 2011 package has been devellopped to work in the classroom, instead of at an event. All schools on the database will recieve the package.

Topics include;

Section 1 - Choosing a career is far easier when a visual format is presented, and helpful tips regarding skills shortages and top employers including corporate and government are outlined.
Section 2 – Education is critical with many career choices. This section includes Study skills, tertiary education options and obtaining study loans.
Section 3 - Learners will learn how to get the job, by using a workshop format interview skills scenario that includes CV writing, Job Interviews and what to wear.
Section 4 – This section is both fun and informative. Areas covered include environment, Competitions that encourage learning, health and planning a business.
Section 5 - Learners and educators will have the opportunity to complete ‘Further Information Request cards’, so that information on your area of interest can be sent to you via email or post.
