Preparing grade 9 to 12 learners BEFORE entering the fair has proven to be beneficial both for learners and exhibitors. The CET24 Movie serves as a briefing, informative and fun introduction to the exhibition.
The exhibition provides a fantastic opportunity for our youth to question choices, whilst young enough to explore options. Not all information is applicable to all grades and it is for this reason that we introduced a successful system that colour codes every learner according to grade. Exhibitors are able to identify which grade the learner is currently studying, then hand the appropriate information.
The 2009 series will introduce skills shortages, study opportunities, bursaries, employment opportunities and life skills.
The all-famous teachers lounge lives on for the year ahead, giving educators the opportunity to refreshments and an educators resource pack.
The 2009 series will see an extra day of activities in areas where large volumes of learners are expected ensuring less queues and extra time.
All learners recieve a copy of the CET24 Magazine/Workbook that can be used as a learning tool in the classroom and at the event.
Each careers event features a 'Career Explorer' exhibition stand, giving learners the opportunity to post information requests to various organisations.
